I agree 100% it0s absurd to consider him nasty, the guy made a solid contribution with his drumming and backing vocals during Gabriel years and a pretty decent job as lead vocalist in ATOTT and specially on W&W. I also think that he is underrated, because he likes ballads, and not many people who likes Prog Music likes ballads. Oh, goodness. But she once gave me a letter that I wrote in fourth grade that pretty much outlined my whole career. He passed away [in 2002]. And to be honest, my whole career has been about playing different kinds of music. It was the biggest adjustment Ive ever had to make, musically and culturally. He was a member from the beginning, when they did there really masterful work, but no one seems to mention that. They had promised him membership in the band. I started thinking, Now what did I do?
